The Brief

Thermo Fisher Scientific is a global leading supplier of scientific consumables, equipment, software, and services. They came to Reorg Installations to achieve a more efficient way of lighting at their large factory site in Holland.

The project required over 1,000 LED fittings across all environments across the site including:
• Low level lighting
• High level lighting
• Task lighting
• Office lighting
• Corridor lighting
• Emergency lighting
• External lighting

Working within the pharmaceutical industry required the Reorg Installations team to wear specialist PPE and clothing to enable work in an extremely clean and sterile environment. The client also required them to be discrete and cause the least amount of disruption possible.

What We Did

From start to finish, the team worked discretely and flexibly around the everyday running of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s site, causing the lease amount of disruption.

This involved working early and late, to avoid the busiest times within the factory and reduce disruption as much as possible.

The team delivered the project in less time than planned by working effectively and efficiently throughout.

The client was extremely happy with the project, which was delivered efficiently, discretely, without hassle and, quicker than planned. The outcome was a more efficient, cheaper to run and more flexible lighting solution.
